# Charts

> Anvil2 chart libraries for Web and React Native, plus the deprecated amCharts themes.

Anvil2 ships two chart hosts, both built on [Apache ECharts](https://echarts.apache.org/). A third library themes amCharts 5 and is deprecated. Pick the library that matches the surface you ship.

## Which library to use

* **New Web charts.** Use [Charts Web](https://anvil.servicetitan.com/docs/charts/web). It provides the `Chart` host, palette utilities, and tooltips.
* **New React Native charts.** Use [Charts React Native](https://anvil.servicetitan.com/docs/charts/react-native). It provides the same host and palettes for React Native.
* **Existing amCharts.** Stay on [amCharts](https://anvil.servicetitan.com/docs/charts/amcharts) only where that theme is already in use. Do not start a new chart on it.
