# Icons

> Two Anvil2 icon sets. Material for core Web. Lucide for AI Kit, React Native, iOS, and Android.

Anvil2 ships **two icon sets**. They are not one library. Pick the set that matches the surface you are building.

| Set | Basis | Package / delivery | Used by | Browse |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| Core Anvil2 | [Material Icons](https://fonts.google.com/icons) and ServiceTitan SVGs | Bundled with `@servicetitan/anvil2` (Icon component) | Core Anvil2 Web | [Material catalog](https://anvil.servicetitan.com/docs/icons/material.md) |
| Anvil2 Icons | [Lucide](https://lucide.dev/) and custom ServiceTitan SVGs | `@servicetitan/anvil2-icons`, plus generated `Anvil2Icon` on iOS and Android | AI Kit, React Native, iOS, and Android | [Lucide catalog](https://anvil.servicetitan.com/docs/icons/lucide.md) |

## Which set to use

* **Core Anvil2 Web** — use the Material catalog and the [Icon](https://anvil.servicetitan.com/docs/components/icon/web.md) component. Do not import from `@servicetitan/anvil2-icons` for core Web product UI.
* **AI Kit, React Native, iOS, or Android** — use the Lucide allowlist. Web and React Native import from `@servicetitan/anvil2-icons`, not from `lucide-react` or `lucide-react-native`. iOS and Android use the generated `Anvil2Icon` enum. See [Lucide](https://anvil.servicetitan.com/docs/icons/lucide.md) for install and usage on each platform.

The Icon component pages under Components document the core Web `Icon` API. They are not the catalog for either set and are not merged into this area.
